Scott Elementary capped off its school-wide fundraiser with a Fun Run today. Thank you to all who helped contribute, as SES raised over $25,000 for our school! Congratulations to our 2nd grade, who raised more funds than any other grade level. Mrs. Zerjal & Mrs. Brown presented on using "Number Sense Routines" in the classroom, while Ms. Larsen and Mrs. Caliper presented on "Coaching Collaboratively - Building Relationships Between Instructional Coaches and Staff." SES second grade gifted program students are working with the theme of "structures" this school year. They studied the structure of their faces while creating Vincent Van Gogh inspired self portraits, and polished their teamwork and communication skills while building various structures within challenging parameters.

Scott Elementary celebrated Patriot Day this morning, remembering the events of September 11, 2001 while honoring the heroes from that day, and every day, across the country.
