Registration Requirements
  1. Federal or State issued Photo IDProof of ResidencyStudent Fee Payment - Student fees will be collected at registration. Fees may be paid in advance using eFunds, and then parents must bring in receipt. Fees must be paid in order to pick up schedules.

Contact the respective school to enroll your students. Middle school and high school students must make an appointment with the school guidance counselor prior to enrolling.
Students new to the district who have NOT enrolled will not be able to register July 25 or 26.

Kindergarten Registration 2017-18

Open Enrollment:  Monday-Friday, 8:30a.m.-2:30p.m.
All children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1 and reside within the school district boundaries are eligible for Kindergarten.  If you have not registered your child please stop by the school to register at your earliest convenience.

Parents/Guardians are required to bring the following documents:

Located in the City of Belleville, serves students in grades K-5 who reside in the following subdivisions:  The Orchards, Plum Hill Estates, Brookhill Estates, Green Mount Manor and Wingate Manor.  These subdivisions are located within the Mascoutah School District's boundaries.  Wingate Elementary School is currently under construction and will open for the 2015-2016 school year.

A Federal or State Issued Photo ID  is required.

Proof of

Two (2) forms of Proof of Residency are required for 
every NEW and RETURNING student
THE DISTRICT WILL NOT ACCEPT A POST OFFICE BOX NUMBER
  1. First form of "Proof of Residency" should be a CURRENT UTILITY BILL (gas, water, sewer, electric or land phone bill) 
    .
    Second form may be one of the following:  
    • Occupancy permit with current date
    • Current public aid card with current address in district
    • Driver's license with current address in district
    • Current voter's registration card with address in district
    • Lease with last months rent receipt
    • Additional utility bill such as phone, trash, etc

EXCEPTION to the TWO PROOFS of RESIDENCY:  Private housing on Scott AFB. ONE form of proof will be accepted from those living in private housing on base.  You will need to bring in a current Minol utility bill.

  • Original Birth Certificate Only.  Hospital Certificates will not be accepted.
    NOTE: Students registering for Kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year.

  • Illinois Health Physical Form
    Students new to Illinois must have a physical completed on a State of Illinois Health Physical Form.  All Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade students must have a recent Physical. (Sports physicals must be done yearly.)   
    Dental Exam Form
    A dental examination form completed by the dentist, or waiver, if the student qualifies for one of four criteria, must be completed for students in grades Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 6th grade. The completed form must be turned in to the school nurse by May 15th of that school year.
    Vision Exam Form
    Vision exams will be required for all Kindergarten students and any student new to the district. (Illinois law requires that proof of an eye examination by an optometrist or physician who provides complete eye examinations be submitted to the school no later than October 15 of the year the child is first enrolled or as required by the school for other children.  The examination must be completed within one year prior to October 15 of the year the child enters an Illinois school.)
