Wingate and Scott Elementary School provide Preschool For All classrooms, funded by the Illinois State Board of Education Early Childhood Block Grant. This is a program for at-risk students. Enrollment in the classroom is based on need. Need is determined during a screening process and the number of at-risk factors for the student and family. The program enrolls a set number of students per school year. In addition, a waiting list of students is kept throughout the school year.

The program meets for half day sessions. The morning session is from 8:15am - 11:00am and the afternoon session is from 12:40pm - 3:25pm.

Screening for the program is held in the second semester for the following school year. Other screening dates are held as needed throughout the school year.

If you have concerns about your 3- or 4-year-old child, and live within the Mascoutah School boundaries, please call (618) 566-2152. If you have any questions about the Preschool For All program for Mascoutah School District, please call or email Sandra Litteken.
